Analog level sensors Vektor PLP1000N-420, PLP1014N-420, etc.
Level sensors are designed for continuous monitoring of the level of liquid products in various process tanks.
The principle of operation of the sensor is based on measuring the time interval during which the magnetostrictive pulse arising at the location of the float reaches the acoustic transducer.
Advantages. The output signal is normalized in the range from 4 to 20 mA (current loop).
The sensor is a universal means of measuring linear movements and has high resolution, accuracy and noise immunity.
It has an ExiaIIBT5 explosion-proof design and allows the use of a wide range of intrinsically safe barriers from world manufacturers.
The measuring element of the sensor is made of high-quality stainless steel.
Additional featuresOptionally, a PTFE coating (Teflon, fluoroplast) is applied to the measuring element of the sensor in order to protect the measuring element from possible sticking of clots and improve float sliding.
The measurement range can be adjusted at the request of the customer. For example, if in an oil tank with a height of one meter, the working level change occurs between the 50cm and 60cm marks, the sensor can be set to measure exactly this range with small allowances, the measurement accuracy in this case is 0.2% of the selected range.
